Obituary of Helena Stawiarski

STAWIARSKI, Helena At the Juravinski Hospital, on Friday, October 7, 2016, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Roman. Loving mother of Stanislaw and his wife Dianne, Stefan and his wife Lucy and Mary and her husband George Pokorski. Dear grandmother of Kasia, Teresa, Christopher, Kristin, Thomas, Matthew and Michael. Will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and other family in Poland. Helena was a long time member of the St. Stanislaus Holy Rosary Society. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Friday at 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Church, (Barton St. and Sherman Ave.) on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
