Obituary of Rebecca Merigold

MERIGOLD, Rebecca (nee McLean) Passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the age of 43. Beloved wife to Robert, and proud and loving mother to Nicholas and Ashley. Survived by her mother Joan McLean and daughter to the late Gordon McLean. Sister to Margaret Benjamin and Sarah Mills. Daughter-in-law to Archie and Cheryl Merigold and Trudy Merigold. Rebecca was a city clerk with the City of Hamilton HSR (ATS). After a short and valiant battle with cancer, Rebecca’s family would like to thank her family members, close friends, and health care workers for their support, care, and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Harmony Baptist Church, 1763 Upper James Street, Hamilton, on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Rebecca’s Life will take place at the church on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2 p.m. Online condolences may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
