Hello to all the Dorey Family: We are so sorry we are unable to be at the Memorial service today due to previous commitments in our church community this weekend. Uncle Stan was a wonderful man and I have many fond memories of fun with all the family from years gone by. I hope you have a wonderful memorial service together. To the Dorey family, We want to express our condolences at the passing out friend Stan Dorey. We appreciated Stan's part in our lives at Fair Havens as chairman of the Fair Havens Committee and as a worker and visitor at camp. He gave many hours of work and leadership to the facility and we loved the ongoing fellowship with the extended family vacationing here at camp. Dear Dan & Rick: I was so sad to hear the news of your dear Dad's death. So many memories flooding back of our years at Garside and the Sunday evening young people's gatherings at either our house, your house or the Cottrell's home. Hi Dan & Elaine: I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your father, Stan Dorey. I had hoped to attend the funeral service tomorrow at Garside but we're suddenly required in Toronto to help look after one of our grandchildren. Dan, I remember your father in Church as if it was yesterday. By all accounts, he lived a full and Godly life, and I'm sure you can take comfort in that. Now he can fully enjoy the Prize, which is what we, as Christians, all truly long for! Blessings, Don & Marianne Fletcher

We were saddened to hear of the passing of my (Bob's) cousin Stan. Living in the West for the past twenty-eight years, we have rarely been back to Ontario. We do miss the family there. Stan was a godly man with a warm and gentle spirit. I remember well his involvement at Garside Church and at the Fair Havens camp. We await a grand family reunion in heaven! Our prayers are with Harry and Merle and the rest of the family
