Obituary of Frank Henry Gordon McGrimmond

McGRIMMOND, Frank Henry Gordon June 23, 1950 – December 11, 2016 Frank passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in his 67th year after a courageous and brief battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Irene and Peter McGrimmond, as well as brothers Gordon and Peter. Beloved husband of 43 years to Cheryl (Spencer). Loving father to Leanne Verbruggen (Jason) and Heather (Garry). Frank will be fondly remembered by our large circle of family, friends, relatives across the pond and coworkers at the HWDSB. Thank you to everyone including the health care workers for their kindness, compassion, love and support during the toughest fight of his life. Frank was a proud veteran of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders of Canada Regimental Army Corps. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice or the #2347 Regimental Army Cadet Corps. Visitation will be held at the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Officers Mess, James Street Armouries, 200 James Street North, Hamilton, on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 10-12 p.m., where a Celebration of Frank’s Life will take place immediately following at 12 p.m. Donald V.
