Obituary of Ken Elms

ELMS, Ken Passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on Sunday, December 9, 2007, in his 68th year. Beloved and loving husband of Lois (nee Emery) for 43 wonderful years. Cherished father of Shari and her husband Mark and Shawna. Proud grandpa to Sienna and grandson arriving shortly. Dear brother of Audrey. Uncle to Michael and Patty and her husband Jeff. Will be missed dearly by Amber, the family dog. Ken will be remembered by many other family members and friends. Ken worked as a teacher for the Hamilton Board of Education for 35 years, retiring to enjoy many vacations and cruises with his family. His love, kindness and generosity will always be remembered by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Ken's life will be held in the chapel on Friday, December 14 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Society would be appreciated by the family. www.donaldvbrown.ca
