Remembering Mr. Smith was always a joy...he was approachable to his students and would make teaching interesting...Over the years his name has popped up when I came across fellow students and we always had an enjoyable talk regarding Mr. Smith..Michael I remember your Dad talking about having a son and how proud he was of you....fond memories of the time spent with your Dad will always be special to me...So sorry for your Loss....

Hi Mike and Lawrie--I am so very sorry about your Dad. I remember him well from his time in the choir at St. John the Divine as well as his reading the lessons during services. I especially remember his booming voice. I enjoyed visiting him at Anson Place too. We had some good visits there. The last few he slept through but when I saw him just after Christmas he was wide awake. It always amazed me that he knew exactly who I was even when I hadn't been for a while. Art was like a second father to Michael and will be missed. We enjoyed getting together with Art and Ann at their home for Christmas time. We would like to think that he is now leading the choir and is with your mother Ann. Memories will last a life time. His booming voice and smile will forever be in our minds.
