Obituary of Norma Jean Medcalf

MEDCALF, Norma Jean (nee Murdock) Passed away on February 11, 2017 in her 95th year. “Mrs. Cheer-Up”, reunited with her devoted husband of 61 years, Harvey (2004). Loving mother to Gary Medcalf and his wife Kathryn of Grimsby, Brenda Joslin and her husband Larry of Stoney Creek and Chris Medcalf and his wife Lori of Hannon. She will also be greatly missed by her ten grandchildren Steven (Nicole), Jeffrey (Rebecca), Ryan, Bonnie, Wayne, Harvey, Melissa (Luke), Zach, Ryan, Drew and four great-grandchildren Carson, Cade, Jackson and Mira. Sadly missed by her brother Ken Murdock of Florida and her sisters Marguerite (Gerry) Carr of Flamborough, Hilda (Jim) Baker of Arizona and Beulah Brown of Florida. Predeceased by her brother Harold and her sisters Helene, Beatrice and Eleanor. She will also be missed by friends at Village Green and friends and staff at Lakeview Retirement Home. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive guests at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Visitation will be immediately followed by a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel.
