Obituary of Rhea Jean Embleton

EMBLETON, Rhea Jean (nee Stewart) Surrounded by her family, Jean went to be with her beloved Roy (1991) on March 3, 2013 in Hamilton. Loving mother of Murray and his wife Elizabeth. Dear “Gram” of Cindy (Nick), Carrie and Tanya (Adam). Proud great-grandmother of Jessica, Daniel, Mallorie, Owen and Violet. Sister-in-law of Evelyn Simmons. Predeceased by her sister Ella Soley and brother Ross Stewart. Jean was born and raised in Saltfleet Township and together with Roy they remained in the area their entire lives. She was an employee of Westinghouse and Eaton’s. In their retirement years, she and Roy enjoyed many winters in Florida with special friends. Family and friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Rymal Road Community Church Cemetery.
