Obituary of Ann B. Elliott

ELLIOTT, Ann B. (nee Risidore) After a long battle with many illnesses, Ann passed away surrounded by her family, at Arbour Creek Long Term Care, on Monday, February 27, 2017, in her 79th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Art for 58 years. Loving mother of Susanne Gracey and Michael and his wife Sue. Predeceased by her son-in-law Mike Stokes. Cherished grandmother of Emily and Blaise, Elliott and Kathryn, Erin, Evan, Ethan and Kaitlin. Will also be lovingly remembered by extended members of the Elliott family. Ann was involved as a volunteer for many years and in different capacities with Girl Guides of Canada. She was a former employee of Bell Canada, Cardinal Newman High School and O.E.C.T.A. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek on Saturday, March 4th at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
