Obituary of Margaret Ethel Slapinski

SLAPINSKI, Margaret Ethel Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Village of Tansley Woods, on Saturday, March 4, 2017, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Walter. Loving mother of David, Valerie Stevenson and her husband Mark and Lisa Slapinski. Dear G-ma of Mark, Jaclyn, Oliver, Rachel and Victoria. Dear sister of the late Henry Strom, the late Shirley Nevills, the late Lloyd Strom, the late Mable Strom and Violet Wiebe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her friends and caregivers at Tansley Woods, as well as Joy Hamoy, for all of their loving care and support. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
