Obituary of Bernice Mary VanEvery

VAN EVERY, Bernice Mary (nee McDougall) A lifelong resident of Stoney Creek, Bernice passed away at the Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care Centre, Mississauga on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in her 94th year. Loving mother of Louanne Capello (Bryon) and Kathy Lightstone (Steve). Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Shannon), Megan (Tyler), Emily, Rachel and great grandmother to Lily. Dear sister of Robert McDougall. Predeceased by sisters Marion Eden and Doraine Barclay. Will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and dear friends, Dorothy Mokry and Virginia Coombs. Special thanks to the staff of Cawthra Gardens for all of their care and compassion on mother’s final journey. Cremation has taken place. The Funeral Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, March 9 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow in Stoney Creek Cemetery.
