Obituary of Elisabetta Di Battista

Di BATTISTA, Elisabetta Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at The Brant Center, surrounded by her family, in her 88th year. Predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Luigi (1998). Loving mother of Biagio (Elizabeth), Rosemary (Greg) and Lorraine (Cyril). Wonderful Nonna to Robert, Katherine, Matthew, Cristina, Julian, Evan and Maxine. Survived by her sister Antonietta and brother Enrico. Special thanks to the staff at Brant Center especially 4th floor- Hidden Valley for their compassionate care and love shown towards Mom. Elisabetta was a loving, generous and kind woman and we will always remember how brave she was especially in her final days. She will live forever with dad in God’s arms and in our hearts. Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 3 to 8 p.m. Vigil Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Highway 8 and King Street East, Stoney Creek on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Burlington.
