Obituary of Elsie Mildred Lewis

LEWIS, Elsie Mildred After recently celebrating her 100th birthday, Elsie went to be with her Lord and Saviour, on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Lewis (1998). Loving mother of David and his wife Janie, Raymond and his wife Cynthia, Lorraine and her husband Mark Bebbington and Ross and his wife Anne. Predeceased by her daughter Ivy and her son Ron. Cherished Nana of 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Re-united with 4 sisters and 2 brothers, Elsie will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The interment service will be held on Monday, March 20 at 9:30 a.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main St W., Hamilton, followed by a Memorial Service at Paramount Drive Alliance Church, 1035 Paramount Dr, Stoney Creek at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Paramount Drive Alliance Church, the Alliance Church National Office Global Advance Fund, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
