Obituary of Doris Karchut

KARCHUT, Doris (nee Shuparsky) Passed away peacefully at Portal Village Retirement Home, Port Colborne, on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Karchut. Dear mother of Marlene and her husband Kent Wells, David and his wife Dina. Loving grandmother of Stephen and Elizabeth. Dear sister of Nick. Predeceased by siblings William, Mary Tkachut, Bella Slota, John, Alec and Rosaline Chopek. Doris was born in Wroxton, Saskatchewan and moved to Hamilton in 1948 where she met her future husband Stan and raised her family in Stoney Creek. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
