Obituary of Nada Arar-Neskovic
ARAR-NEŠKOVIĆ, Nada
Her story carries across continents and oceans. Born in 1942 in the former Yugoslavia, Nada came to Canada in 1964 with her fledgling family and through her tender, determined, caring, fiery and nurturing ways, saw it flourish. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Hamilton General Hospital on April 30th at the age of 75. Predeceased by her parents Ana and Velimir Nešković, she leaves behind her devoted husband of 54 years, Viktor. She is survived by her sons Salvatore (Mary Lou), and Ilija, her grandchildren Jordan, Brendan, Mia and Alexander, step-grandson Matthew McCrory (Danielle) with baby Killian, her brother Borislav (Ljubica) and children Žana and Tony and her sister Lela Jovanović. Sharing in their sympathies are her numerous in-laws in Alberta; Ivan (Helen-deceased), Sćepo (Ruža), Žarko (Tereza) Arar and countless nieces and nephews both here and abroad. Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. And while the final page in this story has finally been written, her fire still burns bright and the torch has been passed. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
