Obituary of Velma Blanche Evans

EVANS, Velma Blanche (nee Bell) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Sanford. Devoted mother of Carman (Donna), Borden (Donna) and Fraser (Linda). Loving grandma of Lori, Shelley, David, Karen, Bobby, Phil, Nathan and 7 great-grandchildren. Velma was a lifetime dedicated member of Binbrook United Church. Special thanks to the past and present staff at The Riviera Retirement Lodge for their care and compassion. Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
