JORGENSON, Robert “Bob” Arthur

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Village Retirement Home in his 97th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Fran. Proud father to Sandra, Bob (Kathie), David (Laura), and Neal (Terri). Much loved grandfather to Blake (Holly), Chelsie (Kyle), Taryn (Javier), Travis, David and Lanaie. Great-grandfather to Ryder and Brodie. Very dear friend to Greta. Bob was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Artillery, where he served in the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean area, and Europe. He had earned many medals throughout his military career, and was a proud supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 622 in Stoney Creek. Bob was also a member of the New Horizons Club, a retiree of Westinghouse, and will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, many jokes, and bag of tricks. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 622 on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. A Legion Service in honour of Bob will take place at 1 p.m. Donations in Bob’s memory to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 622 or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
