Obituary of Peter Andrews

ANDREWS, Peter (B.Sc., P.Eng.) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter on August 16, 2011, in his 91st year. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Kathleen. Loving father of Roger (Kathy) and Janet (Tim Cress). He was Gramps to his eight grandchildren; Tim, Matthew, Barb (Geordi), Kelly (Ian), Tori, Robin, Steve (Jill) and Stuart (Katie) and nine great-grandchildren. Will also be missed by family in his native England. Peter was recently awarded the Order of Niagara for his 60+ years of volunteer work as Organist/Choir Master including St. Cuthbert's Church in Oakville. Most recently, he was an active member of Christ Church, Woodburn. A special thank you to all of the home care providers and to the staff at Grace Villa for their care and support during his stay. In accordance with Peter's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Peter's Life will be held at Christ Church, Woodburn on Friday, August 19th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Blind Mission or the SPCA.
