Obituary of Elmer Douglas Fletcher

FLETCHER, Elmer Douglas (Doug) Suddenly at his home on Thursday, December 27, 2012, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Lois. Loving father of Kim, Charlene and Kevin (Brenda). Grandfather of Jessica, Matthew and Breanne. Predeceased by parents Elmer and Ruth Fletcher and brothers Milton, Ralph, and Robert (WW II Veteran). Doug is also survived by his sister-in-law Carol (Dave) Luxon and many nieces and nephews. Doug farmed all of his life, and at one time was very dedicated to and Chairman of the Centre Mall Farmers Market. The family will receive friends at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Trinity United Church Cemetery, Hannon.
