Obituary of Ian (Fritz) Fraser

FRASER, Ian (Fritz) Peacefully at his home in Grimsby, surrounded by family, on Friday, June 17, 2011 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Mary for 65 years. Loving father of Bev Fraser Bakti and Brian Fraser and predeceased by son Ian (Panc). Dear brother of Sheila Kozak. Will also be lovingly remembered by brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and Dr. John Bakti and his daughter Nicole. Ian and Mary were the former owners of Gulliver's Travels Motor Hotel, Stoney Creek. Ian played hockey from mid 1930's-1950's throughout Canada and the U.S.A. and was a loyal Bulldogs fan and any team with the exception of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 21st at 11 a.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
