Our sincere sympathies with the passing of Grace. You, as family, will be in our thoughts and prayers. Due to other commitments we are unable to do so in person.
A number of times we had the opportunity to offer Grace a ride to scrabble at the Grimsby Seniors Centre. Grace knew her scrabble and we learned a few things from her. World War II and the Lancaster bombers, dropping food in the Netherlands was a topic that was often discussed with her. She found it interesting to talk with us as the recipients of that food in May 1945.
We are going to miss her,

Janice & Family,
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. Grace was the first mother I knew, in the 1970's world of stay-at-home Moms, who went to university as an adult, commuted to work, PLUS raised four kids (and a dog) - and still kept a warm and lively sense of humour. Amazing then - and amazing now.

I was so sorry to hear of Grace's passing. Although we only worked together for a few short years, I have wonderful memories of her at the old Islington Probation and Parole Office. Grace once told me that I "resist change." That was because I did not want her to move on to another office. Why would I when we all had such good times together?! Grace also attended my 50th birthday party a few years ago. I would surely be there to say goodbye to Grace if I did not have to be in Peterborough for a family funeral this week. Thank you Grace for such wonderful memories.

In 2000, I received from you, my "first ever parcel" which contained surprises to "OPEN" each day of my recovery from hip surgery. Each with a hand-written note in calligraphy print. Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.
Lovingly remembered ,Shirley.

Grace was a one and a million---a fierce pioneer who was way ahead of her times, and one of the few "moms" who had the courage to return to school in her thirties. But mostly I remember her as the entertaining and caring "Grace" who always stopped to pick us up on our way to school. She never forgot anyone. We will miss you, Grace.
