Obituary of Freeman Andrus

ANDRUS, Freeman Passed away at St. Peters Hospital, Hamilton, on Thursday, August 18, 2011, after a long and courageous fight with cancer. Survived by his wife June, his sons Freeman Jr. of Turner Valley, Alberta, Paul and Scott of Hamilton. He was retired from Bell Telephone after 39 years of service. Freeman loved skiing and sailing, singing and joke telling, however, he will be fondly remembered for his passion of Hiking the Bruce Trail and bicycling. He will be missed by all of his friends at the Bruce Trail Association, Monday Riders Bikers, Wednesday Slow Pokes, his friends at Harold Brewster Pool, A.S.A.C.T.B.
