Dear Bruce,
I am so pained at the thought of Darlene no longer being with us. When she told me about her illness, I never imagine it would end like this. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I'm sorry for myself because I will never be able to get together with her for our "bi-yearly" dinners where we talked about work and family.
I will never forget these times.

There are now words that can express how deeply saddend I am at your pasing. You were an amazing lady, and a forever friend. You will be missed by so many people you have touched. Unisource will never be the same with you not there, your smile was infectious. I will always have a special place in my heart for you. The only thing that is helping me through this difficult time is knowing that Wesley has another special angel to watch over him. I will miss our drives, and chats but most of I will miss my friend. What a lady!
I was one of many fortunate people to work with Darlene. One of many to experience her charm and wit. She told it as she saw it, and was always willing to role up her sleeves and help out regardless of how much time it took.
Dar loved to tell her stories, and she always made you laugh. She had a natural way of pulling you into them, and the laughter could be heard throughout the office.
I miss going into her office to hear a "good one", or to tell her a "good one". She was great at making bad days "good ones".
I am honoured to have known her, I will miss her laughter, her friendship and her pure care for everyone she met. We've lost one of the special ones, but we're blessed by our memories of her.
