Obituary of Florian (Frenchie) Gagnon

GAGNON, Florian “Frenchie” Peacefully, with family by his side, passed away at Emmanuel House Hospice on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in his 83rd year. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 44 years Frances Gagnon (Davies). Devoted father of Jean Paul and Joanne Starr (Daniel). Loving grandfather of Olivia Starr. Dear brother-in-law of Robert Davies (Sharon) and uncle of Mark Davies. Florian was a former employee of Glengarry Transportation. Special thanks to Dr. Vegas and staff at Hamilton General Hospital and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Emmanuel House. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Emmanuel House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
