It is with heartfelt sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Sean Kelly at the age of 50. Sean is survived by his beloved wife Gena and his darling daughter Sadee who loved her Daddy more than anything in the world. Sean is also survived by his mother Jean who will forever love and miss her “Baby Boy”, as well as by his older sisters Joan (Ivan) and Janet (Larry), and his mother-in-law Lucy Belcher. He was loved by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Sean was preceded in death by his father Douglas and his grandparents Clifford and Gladys Kelly, and Beverly and Edna Beemer. Sean was a happy-go-lucky guy who loved to laugh, joke, tease, and have fun. Everyone could see how much he greatly loved his Sadee Bug; he was such a fun, doting father - he gave his little girl everything. He was always taking her on fun adventures, making sure she was always busy, active, and happy. Sean was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is remembered as a very generous and caring person who always asked how you and everyone in your life was doing. He listened and he truly cared about every person who walked into his life - always putting a smile on their face. Sean had a 23 year career at Toyo Tires which he greatly enjoyed and allowed him to travel the world. Sean will be missed now and forever. His laugh, his hugs, and his wonderful soul that brought so much light to the world. Rest peacefully. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 1 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sadee Kelly’s trust fund would be greatly appreciated.
