MARTIN, Buddy Robert Lee

1943-2019

With sadness and love in our hearts, we announce the passing of Buddy R.L. Martin at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Thursday, May 9, 2019, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Paulette. Loved father of Kim, Jody, Michelle (Tony) and Buddy Jr. Dear grandfather of Amber, Tara and Grace. Will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings Linda, Wayne and Jan. Predeceased by his parents Len and Lily and his brother Len. Buddy was retired from Union Drawn Steel with 43 years of service. He was a member of the V.S.L. Senior Snooker league. Buddy also spent many years as a Hamilton slo-pitch umpire and would also umpire for the Hamilton Police Department summer tournaments. Buddy also played and coached slo-pitch for many years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. when a Celebration of his life will take place.
