KINSMAN, Norman and Colleen
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of both of our parents, Norman Ingall (1928-2019) and Colleen Bridget (Bain)(1933-2019) on Saturday, June 22, 2019 in Stoney Creek. Married for 65 years and laid to rest in peace together. Lovingly survived by sons Nicholas of Dunnville, Paul and his wife Angie of Burlington and daughter Karen and her husband Dan Bachynski of Red Deer, Alberta. Will be dearly missed by grandchildren Taylor and Travis Bachynski and Jordan Kinsman.
Norman Ingall Kinsman, born in Galt, Ontario and survived by brother Lincoln (Gerry). Predeceased by brother Victor and sister Elizabeth Kroch. Dad was a business owner, long-time security consultant and 25 year member of the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department, retiring as Captain. He was a member of Murton Lodge of Perfection 14°, Hamilton Sovereign Chapter of Rose Croix 18°, Moore Sovereign Consistory 32° and Wentworth Lodge #166 A.F. & A.M.
Colleen Bridget Bain, born in Vancouver, British Columbia and survived by sister Edna Elliott and sister-in-law Margaret Kinsman. Predeceased by sister Helen (Poppy) Baxter. Mom was a stay at home mother for many years and later owner of Grimsby Diet Centre. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels and drove for the Cancer Society for over 20 years.
Survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by nephew Steven and niece Susan. Eternal gratitude to Shelley Moneta for her support, assistance and love to them both during these last few years. Thank you to Dr. Michael Savatteri who supported and cared for our parents with dignity, kindness and respect- we are so very grateful for that.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. Private family interment will be held.
