Obituary of Marion Gamble

GAMBLE, Marion Passed away peacefully at Emmanuel House on Saturday, December 24, 2011 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Gamble. Loving mother of the late Carol Ann Billings (Keith), Dee Dee Dore (Mark), Michael Gordey (Sherry). Dearly loved grandma of Julie Ann Phillips (Dave), Jennifer Meli (Adrian), Darla Dore, Doug Dore Jr. and great-grandchildren Owen and London. Dear sister of Jean Hasselfedlt and Lillian Fairgraves and brother Merril Currie (Teresa). Sadly missed by Doug Dore. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, they were a very special part of her life. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and care givers for the compassionate care she received. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Emmanuel House, their love and care was extraordinary. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 28 at 3 p.m. Cremation will follow.
