Obituary of Radojka Prpa

PRPA, Radojka
Surrounded by her loving and devoted family, peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in her 77th year.  Beloved wife of Gojko.  Loved mother of Jelena (Tim) and Vera.  Cherished Baba of Ryan, Andrew and Luke.  She will always be fondly and happily remembered for her love of feeding her family great meals, her garden and her joyful spirit.  Predeceased and reunited with her parents Joka and Dusan Radlovic.  Dear sister of Gojko, Draga, Jovanka, the late Branko, the late Jeka, the late Milica and the late Zorka.  She will be remembered and missed by her family, Kumovi, neighbours and friends here, in the United States and in Serbia.  Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. with Pomen at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S. Hamilton on Tuesday July 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Radovan Kodic officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  The family would like to extend their most sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire hematology team at Juravinski, especially Dr. Marcellus, Dr. Aljama and Nurse Shannon for their unwavering care and compassion over the last 10 years.  Also, special thanks to the nurses in ODS who are truly angels on earth.  In Rada’s memory, donations to Myeloma Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
