your Faircourt neighbors spoke of you today, with fond memories. Mr & Mrs Vinall would walk, daily, always holding hands. I loved when they would stop to chat, such lovely people. I remember him telling me it was their 63 Wedding Anniversary <3

George and family, Joan and family,
We wanted to express our sympathies in the loss of your father.
I thought he was a wonderful and very kind man. How lucky you were to have had him in your lives for such a long time and to have had him as your father.
Wanted you to know we were thinking of you.

Joan, Jim, George, Carol and your extended family. I am very sad to hear of George's passing. I will always remember him as a kind and gentle man, quite reserved in some ways but always interesting in a conversation. I always enjoyed it when he and Leta came out to BC to visit your aunt Nerta and uncle Stuart. While the women caught up at the house, George, Stuart and myself would go for a walk and just talk about everything. I will always remember when they were out for the last time before Leta passed and after Stuart had passed. George still wanted to go for the traditional walk, if for no other reason than to remember and talk about Stuart. I will remember him for his calm manner, gentle nature, shy smile and great conversations.

Uncle George was a kindly and generous man. Joy and I appreciated our visits with him when we came east. Those visits usually included lunch at one of his favourite restaurants; always his treat. He had a strong sense of family sharing pictures of my mom and their siblings with us. I appreciated his determination to maintain his mobility as he grew older.

George was a wonderful man that I enjoyed visiting at his home in Trafalgar Lodge. He supported the ministry of Canadian Baptist Ministries and was always interested in hearing what was taking place. I will miss our lunches and visit. Sincere condolences to the family and what a wonderful life he lived!
