Obituary of Milan Skrbic

SKRBIC, Milan

Passed away at Pine Villa Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Anica for over 67 years. Loved father of Nick and his wife Olga, George and his wife Zorica. Cherished Deda of Michael, George and Alexia. Will be missed by his sisters Smilja and Desa and by many other relatives, kumovi and friends in Canada and around the world. Milan was a proud founding member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and was a dedicated employee of Stelco for 27 years. Special thanks to Lakeview Retirement Home and Pine Villa Nursing Home for their care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with The Very Reverend Father Radovan Kodic officiating. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
