I am so very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. I lost touch after I left Canada Post., and I just found out this evening that he had passed. He was loyal and trustworthy, with a wicked sense of humour, and a wonderful sense of adventure. I'll never forget him.

It saddens me greatly to know Chuck has passed, and know that I will not be able to attend and pay my respects as I am in B.C. My sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out to all his family and friends! Such a loss of a sweet, gentle, and caring man, he will be so missed!

I knew Chuck from our Mohawk College days from 1979 - 1982. Chuck always had a smile on his face, and always brightened the room. I haven't seen him for many years but have always considered him to be one of "the gang." This is very sad news, and I send my condolences to his family and friends.

A lovely man taken far too early. Ched was a long time patient and friend at my former chiropody foot clinic in Stoney Creek and over the years, I enjoyed a very pleasant friendship with him. He was always smiling and happy and it was a delight and pleasure to have known him. My deepest condolences to his family & friends. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the family and Friends of Chuck (or Ched as I called to tease him). It came with a sudden shock to me when I heard this tragic news. Ched was my patient when he attended the clinic I worked at for his footcare. We remained friends outside of work and shared lots of laughter and received great advice from Ched on life and being a better human being. I have lost a friend, patient, shopping buddy and an angel. His memories shall be with me forever and the time we spent on this earth together. I pray for his family as they cope through the loss and grief.

This is a very difficult notice to read. Chuck and hung out together in middle school, trying to last out the jogging part of the phys ed class - folded over we were trying to survive. Summers at the backyard pool at his place and listening to Argent (Hold your head Up) over and over in the cool basement of his parents house. Time passed. We took different directions in high school and sadly didn't converge over the years until now. A bit late, a lot late.
On a bright note - Chuck was always cheery and didn't get bothered by the small stuff and did things his way. He has left a lasting memory in my mind for which I thank him.

I am so sad to hear this awful news. Its been years since I've seen Chuck but I'll always remember him for his sense of humour and his kindness. So many memories growing up included Chuck. Another piece of the neighbourhood fabric has been torn apart. My heart goes out to his family after this shocking loss. I'm sorry for the loss of your brother Joanne. I wish I would have been at the location a half hour earlier. Yesterday made me very sad understanding the news of Chucks passing. Many people loved him, ‘KIND’ and ‘CARING’ were words said multiple times to describe Chuck. Big hugs to his whole family, partner and along with friends.
