Obituary of Irma Dorencec

DORENCEC, Irma

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Greater Niagara General Hospital, in her 77th year.  Beloved wife of 52 years to Ignac.  Loving mother of Elvis, Rosemary (Mike).  Loved grandma to Madison and Mackenzie. Dear sister of Terezija.  Predeceased by her brothers Ignac, Anton, Stefan, Stanislav, Martin and her sisters Elizabeta and  Olga. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Irma loved gardening and her budgies. She had a very giving heart and put family and friends before herself.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 3:30 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Catholic Church, 125 Centennial Pkwy., N., Hamilton on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11 a.m.  Cremation to follow.  In Irma’s memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be sent at www.donaldvbrown.ca.
