I knew Don for many of his years at Dofasco but really got to know Don during our Dofasco Minor Hockey days. He was a coach and a very valuable member of the Minor Hockey Executive. His contributions were all for the kids. I have not seen Don since he left Dofasco but he was not forgotten by many of us. Very well liked and respected. Goodbye my friend. You made a difference.

Worked with Don at ABB. Don might have been the most liked person in our Service group. A gem of a human. He will be missed.

This is very sad news indeed. When I reflect back on the crazy times at work, Don always enters my mind & I smile. I worked closely with Don for some time at ABB. He did travel a lot, but when 7dB9Nhe came into the office, his happy mood and smiles were contagious. He was such a kind & thoughtful gentle man. He will surely be missed by many.
Today I celebrate Don Lafleur.
My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones, at this difficult time.
Hugs from Alice

I was very fortunate to have met Don when he worked at ABB. He truly embodied every quality that was written in his tribute. He was a hard working, helpful and devoted employee, with an infectious laugh and a great sense of humour. He loved making new friends and always had an encouraging word for everyone. I will always remember the good times I had playing pool with Don in your rec room. He'd occasionally let me win simply because he was such a nice guy. I, too, am another example of someone who Don impacted with his enthusiasm and supportive demeanor.
My deepest sympathy to Nancy and family.

I had the privilege to work closely with Don during his “second career”. Don was a down to earth gentleman who was always willing to lend a helping hand. My condolences to Nancy and the entire extended Lafleur family.
