PHILLIPSON, Paul James

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing on September 14, 2019 in his 57th year. Predeceased by his father Anthony Phillipson and survived by his mother Jean Phillipson. Loving father to Anthony Paul Phillipson (Erin) and grandfather to Jase and Tate Phillipson. Brother to Mark (Cheryl), Steven (Dawn), Susan (Tom), Linda and Gary (Anne) and to many nieces and nephews.  Paul worked at Slater Steel/Hamilton Specialty Bar for over 30 years, he was the best at what he did and for a steel company that was very hard work. He loved to watch his sports and he could play a mean round of golf which he won many awards for. He will be missed by his family, neighbours and all his friends very much. Cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Glendale Pub, 625 Greenhill Avenue, Hamilton on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Paul’s name to the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
