BRINKMANN, Gert

Passed away on October 30, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton. Dear husband of Connie (Constance). Loving father of Terri of Stoney Creek, Richard of B.C. and the late Mark of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear grandfather of Lucas and Benjamin. Gert was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Erika and Klaus Thiesen. He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law; Joan Punch (Albert) of the Soo, Judith Smith of Toronto and Barb Willis of B.C. along with many nieces and nephews. Gert spent his career at Mannesmann Tube in the Soo, which later became Algoma Steel, and ended his career as International sales Coordinator in Calgary. He loved his family, sweets, sports and of course the Packers. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure; you are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure. Gert has been cremated and will be interred in Sault Ste. Marie at a later date. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
