Darren, real glad our paths crossed! We achieved and accomplished a lot together. Over the years, tackling many challenging projects, regardless of the challenge, I always left the site knowing you would sort it out and get it done. And you always did. It wasn't all work, and no play either. My memory takes me back to the Fed in Kirkland Lake, where many nights I had to "leave a few in bank" because the store manager, building inspector, alderman, and your local bowling team would be coming in to join us!!!
It's only fitting that I include this picture of your Halloween costume proudly displayed in the site trailer...Kirkland Lake 2005.
Thank you for your support, your dedication, and most importantly, your friendship. You are, and will be missed. Cheers!!!
Your friend,
Rod

Moving into the Roads Hood with a shop I met enjoyed laughed Tatted rode and had the pleasure to beer till tears with D-Man. Directing the great circus with the tell tail poncho on rides, he stood for all that he organized to help.
Knowing him just made us all better, a true light that shines for all that hold him in their hearts!

Andy and Paul,
I was so very sad to see Darren's passing in todays paper. I have fond memories of many baseball games and Darren just zipping around the bases and of course, the post game gatherings ! Please know that my thoughts are with you and Darren's family, cherish the wonderful memories he left you.
Your grief is painful but it is because you loved him as a brother.
Take Care

One of my favourite games of golf EVER !! Darren would yell ‘FORE’ before he swung the club to warn people of a true hack was about to swing! Golf was the last thing we thought about as we ran each other over and played smash-up derby with the golf carts,, all while our gut-busting laughter carried across 18 holes! Wow !! Great times Lil D..

From the first time we met at Across the Road we became Friends, Good Friends. From the Pool tables to beers,,times in the backyard under your wooden umbrella tree, a T-Cat game more beer. You came and celebrated a few birthdays like the big 40. What I miss the most was the hug you greeted me with and the kiss you'd plant on my face. With all my respect to you I will Miss you every day until we meet again
Ride in Paradise my friend
