Mrs. Murphy’s worked for many years at a local book store at Bayview Shopping Centre where Shannon and I would would visit her on occasion. She was surrounded by the many books that she brought into the store for everyone’s reading delight. Her love of books has been passed down to her daughter Shannon, an avid reader.
Her love of the cottage was renowned, escaping from the city to the cottage near Algonquin was a favourite past time for both her, Mr. Murphy and their family.
I’ve known her a long time (as you can tell I’m still calling her Mrs. Murphy) and now that she will be missed by her family.
