Obituary of Ron Hamilton

HAMILTON, Ronald

It is with loving thoughts and fond memories that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandpa and great-grandpa on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in his 91st year.  Beloved husband of the late Velma.  He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Kerry and her husband Paul Losell.  Cherished grandfather of Shaunna and husband Justin Mather and adored great-grandfather of Nolin, Jaxin and Jordin.  Survived by his brother Gary (Delores) and sisters-in-law Dorothy (and the late George) and Jean (and the late Frank).  Also left to mourn are his many nieces, nephews and friends. Ron had been retired from Stelco for over 40 years. We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Amica of Stoney Creek for making these last 2 years so happy and memorable for him. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Ron’s Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 1 p.m.  Cremation to follow. Ron was the epitome of a gentleman, generous,

courteous with a heart of gold. He will be truly missed.
