Jane, Mary & Ron, Sara & John and your families -
What a wonderful long life Uncle Ted had! I have the fondest memories of our visits on Sunday nights to Glen Road to see all and in later years with our kids visiting Burlington. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with all of you. xoxo

Jane, Sara and Mary,
Your dad's passing brings to a close our fathers' generation: the great generation who served country, raised families and prospered. Not to mention the Wardrope Lodge that brought together a band of brothers. Sorry for your loss.

Jane, Sarah and Mary - I am so very sorry about the loss of your Dad, as we called him, "Papa Ted". I wish I had got to meet him, but felt I knew him a bit with all the stories Jane shared with me. Thank you for sharing your Dad with me. Be kind to yourselves and each other. Praying for you all!

I'm sorry to hear that Ted passed away. I only knew Ted for the last decade of his life but we enjoyed many "chin wags" where he'd share all kinds of stories of his earlier days. One hundred years is quite a remarkable life that very few ever achieve. I still think about him often and miss our Thursday night snooker matches!
