I am so sorry to hear of Uncle George's passing. He was one of my favourite people. He was kind and gentle. I will always remember hearing his laughter coming from the porch or the cottage up north. I was always happy knowing that he was looking out for my dad and vice versa. My thoughts go out to the family. He will definitely be missed. Rest well George, with your Eva once again.

So sorry to hear about Uncle George's passing. My wife Nickie and I were up in Lions Head in early September and stopped by his home to say hi. There was no answer, so I left him a note saying "hi and sorry we missed you". All those summers spent up in Sauble Beach when we were kids. He taught me how to throw a horseshoe, which was a must around there. Such a kind heart, and always a smile. Our condolences to my cousins Diane, Wayne and Trish and families. Hopefully knowing he is now reunited with Aunt Eva can give you some comfort at this sad time.

We were very sorry to hear of George's passing. We really enjoyed talking to George at Amica and he was a great friend to my father Jack. So often we heard about the two of them waiting for their regular table at dinner while the two ladies who came early to dinner had the nerve to chat and generally waste time over dinner while they were waiting for "their" table! Jack often mentioned the invitation from Trish to join them for dinner at the house on Lake. Sitting on the veranda enjoying a beer was more than a breath of fresh air and he thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
George will be greatly missed especially by my father. Please accept our condolences to his family at this difficult time.
Kindest Regards,
Tom, Kathy & Jack Moorehead

We will always have so many fond memories of Uncle George, a very kind, gentle and cheerful man who always had a welcoming smile and easy laugh. He was always so grateful to have company either in Stoney Creek or at Sauble Beach. His mind remained sharp to his final days as he could easily recall details of events from many years ago. Our hearts go out to Uncle George’s family who were so looking forward to spending Christmas with him. We are comforted knowing that his kindness, compassion and spirit will live on through those he has left behind. We have heavy hearts but will smile at many wonderful memories of Uncle George.
