Obituary of Newton Murray Glendenning
GLENDENNING, Newton Murray Peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2008, with Lynda and Rick at his side, at Ridgeview Long Term Care Centre, in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife Pearl of 53 years in 1998. Lovingly remembered by his Golden Years partner Trudy Newton. Carrying on his legacy is daughter Lynda (Wayne) Smith of Stoney Creek, son Rick (Lois) of Wasaga Beach. He was the proud grandfather of Shawn (Jennifer) Smith of Oshawa, Dave (Trish) Smith of Smithville, Sherrie (Josh) Meyer of Keswick, Brandon of Edmonton, Tyler and Rachel of Wasaga Beach. Great-grandfather of Jacob, Drew, Paige, Thomas, Ava and one future draft pick coming to Dave and Trish. Also remembered by many nephews and nieces. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
