I am so sorry to hear of Velda's passing. I worked with Velda at St. Josephs Hospital in the Continuing Care Unit and I was drawn to her for her kindness, compassion, and patience in working with the elderly as well as the rest of the staff, her positive attitude was amazing. Although we haven't been in touch in years, she's been in my thoughts from time to time. My condolences to the entire Muldoon family on her passing. Velda was always doing things for others and put them always first. Often she would either miss her breaks or have very short ones. Lord, remember your servant Velda who has fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrecton. Forgive her every transgression she has committed in thought, word, or deel. Grant her peace and refreshment in a place of light where Your glory delights all the Saints. For You are the resurrection, the repose and the life of Your departed servant Velda, and to You I give glory, now and forever. Amen!!!

My memories go back many years to the days when Velda brought her young family to the Church of the Nazarene on Ottawa Street! Thankfully we stayed connected and I was blessed with many times spent with her and her family! Cherish all your wonderful memories.

I have so many wonderful memories of our two families spending time together. One of my favourite is the massive breakfasts that Aunt Velda and my mother prepared for our combined family of 15 (lots of kids). Still makes me smile to this day. My conversations with Aunt Velda always left me feeling like I had just received a warm hug such a wonderful caring extraordinary woman. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers
