Obituary of Mark Goehner

GOEHNER, Mark After a courageous battle with cancer, the Lord took Mark to his heavenly home on Friday, July 20, 2012. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sam (Sandra) and their sons Brayden and Callum. Devoted son of Anna and Oscar. Cherished brother of Karen Matos and Frank (Jane). Beloved son-in-law of Trudy and Guenter Rittmeyer and sister-in-law Heidi Matos (Arthur). Favourite uncle of Kayla Matos, Aaron and Kirsten Matos, Matthew, Thomas and Andrew Goehner. He will also be remembered and greatly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada, Germany and Switzerland. He also leaves behind many friends, especially his best friend Danny Foster. The family would like to thank Dr. Juergens at The Juravinski Hospital for her loving care, McNally House for their compassionate care and Krista Cox for her dedication and friendship. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Mountainview Christian Reformed Church, 290 Main Street East in Grimsby on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
