The world has just lost a beautiful spirit and a wonderful woman.I worked at Stelco with her husband Andy and over the years got to know Netty at BBQ's and Retirement dinners.Netty and Andy loved the gift of caring for 180 Foster care children.When she had a wee one in her arms she just beamed with love.She loved all those that came into her care and loved them with the Love of God.She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.May God Bless all of you her family with your loss,but be joyful for she is with Andy again and with her Lord Jesus Christ in Glory. Netty will always be remembered as a warm and caring lady. I will miss Netty's warm smile and heartfelt hugs when she visited us at Northern Reflections; she had a way of brightening up even the dullest of days. My husband and I will always remember the delightful tour Netty gave us when we stumbled upon her daughter's chocolate factory while out on a Sunday drive. Netty was so proud of all her children and would talk fondly of them often. Netty and Andre's fostering of so many vulnerable children is an inspiration and a testament to their loving nature and sense of humanity. May God Bless Netty and her family; she will be sorely missed.

My heart goes out to the Verboom family with hearing of Netty's passing. Netty loved to visit our store Northern Refections at Eastgate. She always had a hug for us when she arrived and one when she left. We loved seeing her smiling face and always had wonderful visits with her. She was a wonderful women and will truly be missed.
