Just to let everyone know, for some reason, I have lost the ability to respond to everyone’s posts. If the feature comes back for me, I will post individual responses. I am reading everyone’s posts to my dad, John Vesprini. The kind words and memories mean a lot to us. Sincerely, Kathleen.

To John Vesprini, Kathleen, Christine, Danny ( Nada & family ) and Michael
We are saddened by the passing of your beloved wife and mother, Maureen.
She was wonderful, cheerful, supportive and kind- hearted. She always welcomed
the friends of her children, including ours, Karen and Kendall to the Vesprini household.
We know that our children enjoyed the visits very much, especially the birthday party
sleep- overs. For them, the Vesprini home was a second home. Dowling and I thank
you all, especially your parents, for the warm hospitality which you showed to Karen and
Kendall. They truly admired, respected and loved your parents .
We thank God for bringing you into our lives, and pray that His Spirit and Love surround you
and your family at this difficult time and always. May your loved one rest in the peace of Christ
and enjoy a share in His resurrection.
Peace, Love & Blessings
Rudin & Dowling Knights

Maureen was an incredible, always welcoming Hostess, whether you just dropped in or stayed over. She loved to sing and she and I took advantage of that quite a few times when we visited. Bruce and I wish to add our sincere condolences to John and all the family - we are thinking of you with a heartfelt song and a prayer !

Dear Maureen. If I were to plant a tree in my backyard to represent all the beautiful, fun, happy and crazy times myself and my family had with you and your family, I would have a forest. These memories crop up more and more as we get older and realize how lucky we were to have had such occasions. We even shared being pregnant at the same time, with you always just ahead of me. Man I learned quickly how to handle my firstborn when I helped you with Kathleen and Christine’s first couple of months. And learning how to make tuna spaghetti for John on Fridays. Oh and your laugh, so contagious. Aw the memories I could go on and on from Sunday dinners as kids, to bbqs later on and to having kids of our own. May you Rest In Peace dear Maureen. Hugs to John, Kathleen, Christine, Danny, Nada, Michael, Julian and Isabelle and the families. Love Carol Hilson (Dowd)

Carol,I read your post to my dad. What a moving tribute to my mother. Yes it would be a forest! Some day, when we can all be together again, we will have a celebration of life and then we can share even more memories. Thanks for those wonderful words and memories of my mom.

Dear John and family
It was with a heavy heart I read about the passing of Maureen today. I have the most wonderful memories of Maureen as a child. She was always so kind to me, even when I was too little to take notice of!
Memories of the back yard afternoons on Norwich still make me smile to be surrounded by such a loving family.
These fond memories continued to Lake Avenue, late night skating in the winter and oh the music! My dad at the piano and the singing and laughing, I can still hear it now. And the generosity of Maureen, too much food and so much merry. God bless, such a difficult time to grieve, you are in our prayers.
With great love Irene Travale (Sayers)
