While living in Stoney Creek back in the 60's we had the good fortune of knowing the Ziemba family who lived across the street.
They were wonderful neighbours - always willing to lend a helping hand or offer moral support during the rough patches. We often attended hockey games where Murray, or as we fondly called him 'Big Mooney', in full goalie regalia patrolled the net. He was a fine young man and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. Our condolences to Mary Lou and the Ziemba family.

Lots of great memories of Murray, especially from the early seventies and eighties when we operated equipment together at Dofasco. In the lunch room he'd sit and listen with a quiet smile then inject the perfect comment to break us up. Usually at the expense of "Bolts" ....Coil Yard veterans will know who I mean. Always fun to work with.....sorry to see this.

Sending my condolences to Murray's extended family. I had the pleasure of working with Murray in the Dofasco Coil Yard in the early 80's. He taught me how to drive some BIG pieces of heavy equipment and always had a lot of laughs together. He was a really nice guy. You are all in my thoughts. Gone much too soon.

Murray
You left us too soon. I thought that our favourite beverage (Wisers), was going to give us Polish guys longevity. I guess you used too much ginger ale and ice.
Condolences to MaryLou, Shannon, Murray Jr., John, their spouses and your grandchildren.
I remember some of the fun times we had when Murray Jr. and Dan played hockey together.
Those were good days.
Although we didn't see much of you and MaryLou and the boys for awhile, at least Murray Jr. and Dan got together periodically.
I was finally pleased to meet up with you at my favourite store, Canadian Tire, where you were working part time.
As usual, I have Wisers at home, and I will be having a drink in your memory and our friendship.
Rest in Peace!!
Kaz and Helen

I truly believe that every minute, hour, day and week I spent around Murray (and family) was filled with pure adventures and laughter! Whether it was sitting around the camp fire listening to his jokes (even though he forgot many punch lines) or playing cards, or fishing or golfing, they ALL are amazing memories that still make me laugh. He was definitely one of a kind that touched the heart of everyone who knew him. His stories and memories will live on forever! Love from the Woods Family (Larry, Scott, Ashley, Jack and Jemma)
