Mom, I love you.
I loved the way you always knew what to say, I loved the way you knew what to do, I loved the way you guided me, nurtured me and made me smile. I loved your Bravery.
I loved the way you grabbed life by the balls and “did it your way”. I love that you took chances, and “Made it happen”.
I loved the way you could point around corners, touch your nose with your tongue, and create your own words which have become part of my everyday vocabulary. I love Poo Poo’s, Felix Munger, Quegies, and Schmeglies. I loved the way you made me think I was funny.
I loved your Healthy Snacks and “Gathering” Walk on thanksgiving. I loved your love of pottery. I loved your Hamburger Soup and Jambalaya. I loved the Dart Rides, Chicken Shit, Beer Hunter and Trim the Tree Parties. I loved losing to you at Euchre.
I loved your Confidence, Generosity, Caring and your Fight, to the end. I am so proud to be your son.
But most of all, I loved the way you loved me.
