Obituary of Mildred Goss

GOSS, Mildred (nee Anderson) Peacefully in her 89th year, at River Glen Haven in Sutton West, Ontario on Thursday, December 24, 2009. Beloved wife of Stanley Goss (deceased). Loving mother of Jim (Jane Litherland), Kathy (Marty Massie), Bob (the late Marcia Campbell) and Lois (Jeff Scobie). Cherished grandmother of Katherine and Natalie Goss; Kelly (Robyn), Joel (Christina) and Brian Massie; Dave, Frank (Michelle Lewis), Jaimie (Stéphane Gaudreau) and Stephen Scobie. Great-Grandmother of Marty and Trent Massie. Will be sadly missed by family and friends. Former Registered Nurse graduated Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital in 1943. Long time member of the ACW "A" Branch and Altar Guild at The Church of the Redeemer. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, December 29 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at The Church our Saviour the Redeemer Anglican Church (25 Lake Ave. S.) on Wednesday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at the Atherley Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Church of our Saviour the Redeemer or the River Glen Haven Nursing Home.
