Our deepest condolences to Rob, Kristina, Katherine, Sarah, Nan & family.
Once in a lifetime, if you are lucky, you will meet a friend who sets the bar so high for living life to the fullest, lighting up a room with her infectious smile and beautiful eyes, learning all she can and sharing that knowledge unselfishly, but most of all, being so thoughtful, generous and kind.
Celine was that friend, she was truly a talented, educated and classy lady. Admired with such high regard from students and peers alike, we watched her success grow throughout her teaching career and later as Principal.
We were lucky to share a close friendship for over 34 years. From the early days of hot tubs, Lac St. Pierre cottage visits and ski trips to when the girls were born we shared birthdays, holidays and many dinners. Always an amazing entertainer, we fondly remember her fondues and many gourmet meals. We felt part of the family, watching her and Rob raise the girls with such love, kindness, devotion, generosity and adventure.
Our life would not be complete without a visit from roving reporter, Lisa Hallibee. Many friends and family were victims of her prank calls. What a talent she had to keep a straight face! We will always remember that sparkle in her eye.
From our trips to New York, Cedar Point, Chicago, Florida and our annual cottage visits, life with Celine was always exciting and fun.
Celine, in memory of all the laughter and love we shared, you will truly be missed. Your beautiful spirit will live on in Rob, your girls and in all the lives you touched. You were one in a million and will always be in our hearts.
Till we meet again,
Love Tom & Cathy

My deepest and heart felt condolences go out to you. It is not easy for any family to lose one of their loved ones. I would like you to know that it truly was an honor to be given the opportunity to join/be apart off Celine's care team, Celine was a beautiful soul and I enjoyed the time that I got to spend with her and your family. She was an inspiration and will be sorely missed, but those that knew her will know that their lives were enriched by the experience.
May you find comfort in loving memories, Strength in the support of those who care, and Hope in each new day.

Dear Rob, Kristina and Katherine, as well as all of Celine's loving family, and in particular Celine's mother, Bridget. I am so sorry that Celine has passed away and left you here on earth without her. I know that you all were so loving and giving to Celine, especially in the latter part of her life, as her illness progressed. She was a fortunate woman to be so well-loved by you all. Unfortunately life is not fair, and she has been taken from you "early". My thoughts are with you as you grieve the loss of this lovely woman. I am sure that we will continue to enjoy many companionable hours together at the lake and we will miss Celine's beautiful smile and sparkly eyes.
I hope that your grieving journey allows for lots of time to review old photos and laugh at the memories of all the good times that you had together. I hope that you will take solace in those memories of all your good times together and know that Celine will be wanting you to continue to make those happy memories together.
Sincerest condolences from Carol and Gord Daw, Calgary

So sorry to see the passing of Celine. Will always remember the practical joke she and Rob played on us. Posting in the local paper that we were having a garage sale with free coffee and antiques. Quite the shock seeing the street full of cars at 7:00 in the morning. It was a good one.

Our sincere condolences to Celine’s family. May fond memories of Celine bring you all comfort at this time. I still remember clearly the day I first met Celine at the Vista gym. Coach Heidi brought her to visit our Rock Steady Boxing San Diego for Parkinson’s class. She didn’t just observed but participated with enthusiasm and was ready to rock with us! That enthusiasm continued when she found RSB fighters to work out with back in Canada despite having to drive an hour. Even with the diagnosis of PSP, her love for travel continued! She will definitely continue to be an inspiration as I continue my PD journey! Glad our paths crossed! She will be missed!

I am so sorry for your loss. I always admired Celine for her dignity and grace – not just in the way she fought her courageous battle with PSP but in the way she carried herself throughout her entire life. She was warm and kind, had a brilliant mind, loved to laugh and make others laugh too. Celine could light up a room with her beautiful smile and laughing eyes. She had such a positive impact on everyone who knew her. Truly accomplished and lived a full life, but taken way too soon. She will be thought of often and remembered for the positive force she was to us all… She will be missed. Hold onto your loving memories of your sister, daughter, mom, wife, friend, educator… she was all that, and so much more.
With deepest sympathy.

Whenever I think of Celine, I remember her eyes. Piercing, intelligent, alert, bright, focused. They embodied her spirit, the real Celine. The disease might have taken her physical abilities but her strength shone through her eyes. I never saw her cry, complain or lament her fate. Her reply to my 'how do you do's' was always 'fine'. He dignified modesty was another thing which struck me. It was her husband who told me about her accomplishments. Celine just mentioned her designation as a Principal. Yes Celine, like Lincoln was just a lawyer!
A treasure lost too soon. I'll miss you Celine.

Celine and I were birthday twins both being born on February 19th. We shared a birthday and loved playing tricks on my older sister. Celine was often the master-mind behind the prank and was very convincing when saying she had nothing to do with it. Celine was always kind, funny and smart. Rest In Peace cousin, you will be missed by all that love you.

Rob, Kristina and Katherine,
Please accept our most heartfelt condolences on the passing of Celine. Mme Kingston was a friend to us and a very special educator who played an important role in the lives of my children and countless others. She had a thirst for knowledge but more importantly a genuine desire to pass on this knowledge to her students and to broaden young minds in so many “out of the box” ways. May you be comforted in knowing that she had a profound influence on many young lives. I will be forever grateful for our “educational” trip to NYC and I will think of Celine the next time I slip on a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. Reposez vous bien Mme Kingston. Nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de vous.

The first time I met Celine - Rob and I had gone to Whistler for a boys only ski trip. On our return to Ottawa, Celine and her sister Heidi had come to the airport to pick up Rob. I thought I was having a dream - how could these two beautiful blondes be there to pick up ROB??? It made little sense at the time.
The next summer Celine was a frequent guest at Rob's cottage (next to mine) at Lac St Pierre. She added some much needed estrogen to those weekends which were otherwise fueled with beer and testosterone. That was the beginning of a long wonderful history of Rob and Celine's family with mine at the Lake every summer. Great memories which will not be forgotten.

I remember on a very early trip to Mexico in the 80s Celine arguing in Spanish with a taxi driver about charging us 1200 pesos vs 1000 pesos the hotel said we should pay for the trip. She got us the deal alright we didn’t understand a word she said. We later found out that 200 pesos extra was only 1 dollar!
